Ashridge EMBA participant named UK Marketer of the Year
Congratulations go to Peter Markey, current EMBA participant, who was recently named as Marketer of the Year in the prestigious Marketing Society Golden Jubilee Awards.
Peter, Marketing Director at MORE TH>N, is the first winner from the financial sector in the 25 years that the awards have been running. The Marketing Society commented that it was "particularly significant" that Markey has achieved this "at a time when the industry is facing testing times".
In Pete’s own words, “It’s beyond my wildest dreams to receive this award although I feel humbled to win as MORE TH>N’s marketing is very much a team effort.”
Do you want to stay with your current organisation rather than take a year out to do a full time MBA degree? Have you reached a 'glass ceiling' where an MBA could help you move to the next level?
The EMBA course allows you to spread your MBA degree over two years so that you continue your career alongside the part time programme.
A series of one-week modules in the knowledge-rich environment of Ashridge combine with remote access to the Virtual Learning Resource Centre (VLRC) to make this a practical way to work, study and take advantage of Ashridge’s tremendous networking potential.
Your employer wins as well. Not only are you gaining advanced skills which will enhance your performance within the organisation, but in addition you will base your EMBA course assignments on your company’s current issues and develop practical solutions to resolve them. You wouldn't learn surgery from a doctor who has never performed an operation, so why put your business education in any hands other than the best? The part time executive MBA degree is taught in small interactive groups by faculty who have proven their business acumen in the real world. There are no lecture theatres or classes packed with fresh-faced graduates and your fellow participants who, like you, have at least five and typically more than twelve years' industry experience.
The Ashridge part time executive MBA degree is a superb developmental opportunity for you and your organisation.
I am half way through my first year of the EMBA and still believe that this is the single best career decision I ever made. The quality of the teaching combined with the peer learning is an amazing combination, matched only by the magnificent setting and the lovely puddings!
